Sorry I stopped posting here, I got distracted with other things.

I guess I am getting my head around this whole present-meets-future thing, it just takes some time to adjust to a new perspective.

I am think of starting a thread on time, involving a question for the masses. Based off of a personal experience dealing with missing time. I first need to figure out under which topic it fits.

The topic is 'why did they disappear?'

I still think that they didn't. From recent experiences I think they come and go and always have. What has changed is our ability or awareness that it happens this way. Also time does play a small role... what is a long 'time' (eg 50 years) for us, might only be the equivalent of 5 minutes for an alien race. So we might think, 'oh, no visit for 50 years, they have gone...where did they go?' but really, the aliens are like...'it's only been 5 minutes, what could those earthlings possibly have done worth seeing in that time? Ho-hum, we will wait another half hour before returning...'

Yeah they seem to be more here than they were before. Although the question may be from the idea that we were once living with, or led/guided by, aliens.
