Why is it that athletes, movie stars, people in the music industry etc. get paid ridiculous amounts of money to do what they love while others are overwhelmed trying to survive? People work hard, wether it is physically or mentally yet pay scales vary widely. Some live in the laps of luxery while others are starving and don't have the necesities of life. When did mansions, fancy cars and expensive clothes become more valuable than human lives?

That's a very good point. People even look up to these celebs for doing it; for living the high, selfish life. It's like a lot of people want are getting tired of dealing with other people and dream of escaping them. I'm sure many of us here and have felt the same way from time to time, but I'm sure that if we came into money we'd be giving some of it back to make a positive difference. I'm amazed to see how many celebs can do the opposite.
