True Love Empty
PostSubject: True Love   True Love EmptyTue Nov 20, 2007 10:09 am

Do you believe in true love? Do you believe you ever will find true love? How do you think it might change your life?

Some people believe true love is a myth, or that it is a simple obsession, or a heavy romance. Others believe that you actually do have a real soul-mate out there, of whom you share a deep spiriual connection with. Imagine that out there, somewhere, you have a real soul-mate in the flesh. You might never find this person for as long as you should live. That so much joy and happiness is being denied you while the greatest joy in the universe is out there somewhere, walking down some street, unaware of your existance as much as you are theirs.

Do you believe in true love?

That's a bit melodramatic isn't it Blue? Razz LOL. Wow, such a pessimistic out look...

I believe in true love. I don't believe it is the stuff they market in fairy tales though. And sometimes even when you find your soul mate, there are circumstances that prevent you being together in this life. But that doesn't mean the love fails to exist or dies off - true love is eternal and transcends all dimensions. When two souls align their energy and vibration, love happens. Sometimes it takes more love to let someone go than to hold onto them. That is where unconditional or true love really begins: in the selfless acts we choose where we respect and honour ourselves and our loved one.

Love is a mirror of our being. We see ourselves in the eyes of the one we love. It is life changing and life affirming. It is also painful at times, but the pain is really another way of experiencing the dimensions of love. Anyone who has ever been through a break up knows the pain associated with love.

Meeting my soul mate was very different from starting a relationship or simply falling in love. I felt his energy along time before he entered my life. I had many precognitive clues and even sensed his presence when driving on a certain street, that once I met him became a street I would travel many times to visit him. THere is a deeper knowing - a recognition of him being the one.

I wish I could say, once I found him every thing was Heaven, but it wasn't. We both had a lasting impact on each other's lives though. We both love each other more deeply than I thought possible, but our circumstances forced a break in the relationship. One thing that did come of the union though was deep psychic healing for me. I finally saw who I was because of him, and that gave me the strength to realise my purpose and become whole again.

Indeed the whole soul mate thing is rarely a perfect scenario. I guess like anything else we need to follow our hearts and do what's best.

Ah, 'perfect' Wink I think that is a judgement we humans have applied to love and not a reality. For in reality, everything is 'perfect' - from who we are to the relationships we forge, where we live and what we do - it is all perfect because it is all the way it is meant to be for us to experience what is necessary in our lives to learn and grow. How can you know light if you have never known darkness? Is self love less perfect than true love? Is the longing a mother feels for a lost child any less strong than the love she had for that child when he or she was alive? I could go on and on, but I won't.

Finding your soul mate is kind of like finding yourself in another. I think that is what makes it special. All love is true love because if it wasn't it would be a lie or not true love. Love is all there is.... I love you

True Love Empty
PostSubject: Re: True Love   True Love EmptyWed Nov 28, 2007 1:47 pm

I do believe in true love, and is experiencing it as well. Perhaps unconventional, but good.

What we need is to redefine the word TRUE, and LOVE unfolds!

Some of you know the depth of the relation I share with them, and for me THAT is true love - unconditional. We may not agree on everything, but we all know what respect is all about, and this respect is out of love.

I have been an advocate of unconditional love since I was 14 or so, but I have also realized that I am loving people unconditionally. It is stressful, because I am a human, but it is pure bliss because it transcends me spiritually. I once had a fall out with a wonderful friend (online), and we never talked for almost an year or so, but I still loved her, and now, we are better friends. Same happens with the girl I think I am in love with, she cuts me off for weird reasons, but I dont feel bad about it at all. At the same time, I am not a fool either, because I do keep a safe distance from hurt and foolishness,

Blue, it's a bit after your post here but what the hey, it'll give you another perspective on the true love deal and the soul mate deal, as well...

All love is true, if it is truly felt. There is no mistaking what love feels like, or that you feel it for someone... whether it be your mother, your brother, your Rover or your lover. Love is the source of our light, our energy, ourselves. That's our vibration, our 'true' frequency. And it comes in many different forms and situations, it underscores many of our 'lessons' with other souls here... our soul agreements.

And speaking of souls... We have many, many, many soul mates. And we meet them on a daily basis, believe or not. It's just that some have particular business, "agreements", with us and some just wave and cross the street, leaving the work to the others.
Soul mates are not just romantic relations, they're family, friends and, very ironically, 'enemies' in disguise.

Stay open to receiving the greatest of all loves and the most important... love YOU unconditionally and everyone else will agree to do the same.

And Moonie... you and I gotta chat about that, mate... sheesh!

Peace, Love and Doc out...
