Banner

I am trying to figure out how to add a banner. It would certainly help the look of the site.

Thoughts, ideas..?

I have been thinking about the same thing over on P...(that would be short for Psyche lol - now I am getting with the net-speak).

I like the first one but I also like the pic of the planet with Earth in the background...please keep that or try to incorporate it in the banner somehow. I also like the teal green background cos blue and green are healing colours and the background and earth pic have these in them.

OOPs...this was supposed to be about the banner, right? The first one reminds me of Native American Indians for some reason. The second is very slick. I think you need to find a middle ground...but meh, what would I know? I can't even find where to change the font size for my posts on P, let alone change the font style of the title of the board! Maybe someone else should answer your question, Blue...

Yeah the world pick will stay. It sort of symbolizes the spirit world (the moon) meeting with the known world (Earth.)

I like the first banner too. That's the one I plan to use. The second is ... 'borrrowed', so ... the first one would be better. Plus it just says 'Indigo' and not 'Indigo Spirit'.

I thought this looked better. More professional? I wanted to replace the title with a banner but I guess I can't.

Hmm...Blue, I am no expert (but I am a drip under pressure quite often ) but to me, you seem a little conflicted in vision and action.

I understand wanting to look professional, but who are you trying to attract here? Think about what attracts you to a forum - is it a slick professional banner or is it a header that says something about what the forum is about and who you might find there? Are you trying to attract professional people or spiritual people or artistic people or curious people or ....the list goes on and on but I won't ('Thank Goodness for that,' sighs Blue with a roll of his eyes... )

Step back and take a look from outside the box. What would attract you to come inside and take a look...what do you visualise being at the top of the page? How do you want the public face of Indigo Spirit to look?
