I, like many others, received the email two days ago...Indigo may close down, this makes me very sad. I have belonged to other forums and though the people were cool enough the fit wasn't quite right. Then I found indigo.

Unfortunately, due to the resent demands of my own site, I had stopped coming by as much. My bad. I should have tried to make time, and from what I can tell by the dates on some of these post, I'm not the only one.

So it's your bad too.....and you.....yes.....and you also.....All of you. There was a lot of room here for all branches of discussion and we failed to make use of it. A place that we could say what we thought about what we knew to be true without fear of ridicule, and we failed to make use of that.

A place for the exchange of intellect and ideas, knowledge and discovery.....unity. We failed to make use of that as well.

We failed Blue.

I...like many of you have been invited to the new collaboration site of Goth, Blue, and Night Star called Light Warriors.....I have already joined.....yesterday.....I hope you will join us. And I hope that we can make better use of the resources and opportunities there than we did here.

Wow, Humaren, now I feel bad. I had no idea this site meant that much to you. It meant something to me too, for a while, but it seemed that only Loxley and I had a serious interest and I guess there just didn't seem to be much momentum. I would like to not have to close the site down. It would be cool to continue; I could manage my tasks for both forums. But if it's just Loxley and I making chit-chat, seems that we'd might as well do it on LW.

But like I say, I can wait and see what happens. I feel like I need momentum for a conversation these days though. I don't have the energy to spare on running the site's energy like I used to, I feel like I need other voices to sing to, so to speak.

I'm touched it has meant something for you. It has for me as well. I guess we can just see how it goes.

I know how draining a site can be on someone, especially when you give it your all and no one seems to respond to it.

I myself have lost momentum on my site more than once, and almost closed down not to long ago. My first ten months were a total bust...not one sale. But I'm glad I didn't, even if things are slow due to the US Economy. I think of the work I've put into it and were I want it to go, and I know I still have a long way to go to get there. But that’s me, and it is a different type of site.

A big thing is traffic, and that’s for any site. And I know that there is just not enough hours in the day to do all that is needed to get that relevant traffic to the door, and then to keep them there. Especially when you have a regular job to attend to.

Now I don't claim to know how to breath life into a forum or if there is something to breath life into. I've never had one of my own. All I can say is that you built a nice one, but If you don't feel it, and that I understand, then you need to do what is best for you.

If that is Light Warriors...than I'm happy for you. From what I can tell, Goth and Night Star are great people and you seem to work well together, and perhaps that is what is needed...one focus for all your combined energies in a combined site.

Only you can decide that.

I wish your site well. The Internet has opportuinities business-wise, but like you said it all comes down to directing traffic.
